Herschel Roy, Epsilona Bring The Noise at Le Twist Tuesdays

September 21, 2016

Midtown's gourmet sausage and beer hall, Low Brau, also transforms into a cool makeshift venue when they host Le Twist Tuesdays

Le Twist Tuesdays brings in live bands and artists into Low Brau for the people of Sacramento to enjoy for free. Although there hasn't been a Tuesday night show in a few months, they came back with bang, hosting local indie rock favorites Epsilona, with electro-pop Sac natives Herschel Roy as openers.

Herschel Roy set the mood with their soulful electro-pop performance. They brought the audience back to the eighties with their emotional crooning backed by synth filled production. With handclap solos and dancy synth beats, the crowd was definitely moving along with the duo.

Epsilona started off with a great psych rock jam session which led into their set of dreamy sounds. They captivated the crowd with their intricate song structures, guitar solos, and dynamic rhythm. Throw in a indie rock cover of Drake's Controlla and their take on Tame Impala's Feels Like We're Only Going Backwards, and you will win the entire bar. Attendees even called for an encore. Epsilona played Le Twist Tuesday in support of their most recent single When You're Ready, which you can stream here

Low Brau's Le Twist Tuesday brought in all types of Sacramentans, ranging from your barflys to college students, from moms to urban bohemians, and so on. A great time was had by all. So if you're of age and you're looking for some awesome (free) entertainment on a Tuesday night, make your way to the next installment of Le Twist Tuesdays!
